ropes from some of the biggest Thoroughbred Trainers in the business, including Bobby
Frankel and his own father, Julio Canani.
Nick's father, Julio Canani (left) is a well-known and
respected conditioner who has trained many high-level stakes horses.

ranging from the claiming ranks to graded stakes winners.
- Trained racehorses for leading national
owners, including Richard Englander, Everest Stables and Eclipse

- Trained nationally prominent, graded
stakes winners such as Sicy D'Alsace, Sayarshan, Island Fashion,
Devine Wind, Night Patrol and Sultry Substitute.

- Oversaw day-to-day management and operation of a
major public thoroughbred racing stable
- Responsible for daily monitoring and maintenance
of 35-40 racehorses, including overseeing diet, soundness, and the administration of medication and other veterinary treatments.
- Worked with Breeders' Cup
winners Lit de Justice
and Elmhurst, as well as Grade 1 performers such as Rainbow Dancer,
Megan's Interco and Just Java.
